ENGLISH BULLETIN ( 4 ) FOR 7th GRADERS
Dear Parents,
On this page you will see the grammar subjects, vocabulary and the activities that have been learnt so far in our
lessons. The lessons are applied according to a system named ‘Thinking Skills’. In the end of each unit the students
produce something on their own or with a partner. We have just started the ninth module in our book, Access 3.

ACTIVITIES
Within the fifth module, our students prepared a new gadget or a robot to introduce to their classmates. In the
eighth unit, they showed the environmental problems on a world map. In the same unit, to emphasize the adjectives
of personal qualities, they identified some famous characters.
SKILLS ( MRS. DEBORAH ALPTEKİN)
The students finished reading White Fang. While reading, the students learned about the famous dog sled race every
year in Alaska known as the Iditarod. They created word wheels with vocabulary from the race. They completed
Iditarod challenge sheets that helped them learn more information about different parts of the race while also testing
their math skills. The students are now reading The Three Musketeers. For this book, they drew a map of France
where the story takes place. They really enjoyed listening to this adventure and love story. They also identified the
characteristics of some of the characters on a fleur-de-lis, the flower symbol the musketeers wore on their uniforms.

7.SINIFLAR

Bu sayfamızda işlemiş olduğumuz gramer konularını, kelimeleri ve aktivitelerimizi göreceksiniz. Her ünite zengin bir
kelime hazinesine sahip olduğundan, öğrencilerin kolay öğrenmesi ve unutmamaları için sürekli olarak kelimeler
tekrar edilmektedir ve farklı paragraf yazma çalışmaları yapılmaktadır. 17 Mayıs’ta sınav konuları teslim edilecek olup,
ertesi hafta 3. genel sınav (son sınav) yapılacaktır. Öğrenciler, bu sınavda 1. ve 2. dönemde öğrendikleri tüm gramer
konularından sorumlu sayılacaklardır. İngilizce derslerinde öğrenim, Düşünme Becerileri Sistemi’ne göre yapıldığından
aşamalı ve sistematik bir biçimde uygulama yapılır. Aşağıda 1. dönemden bugüne kadar işlenen konuları

Aktiviteler
Beşinci ünitede öğrencilerimiz teknolojik , gelecek için faydalı yeni bir ürün yarattılar. Sekizinci ünitede dünya haritası
üzerinde öğrendikleri tüm çevre problemlerini gösterdiler. Yine aynı ünitede işlenen sıfatlar konusunda her sıfata
uygun ünlü bir karakter adı söylediler.
İNGİLİZCE BECERİ DERSİ
Öğrenciler ‘White Fang’ adlı kitabı okuyup, bitirdiler. Okurken, öğrenciler her yıl Alaska’da düzenlenen Köpek Kızağı
Yarışları’nı izlediler ve fikir sahibi oldular. Yarış ile alakalı kelime dizini hazırladılar. Ayrıca, matematik derslerine yardımcı
olacak yarış çizelgesi tamamladılar. Öğrenciler şu anda ‘The Three Musketeers’ adlı kitabı okumakta ve bu macera ve
aşk hikayesinden keyif alıyorlar. En son hikayenin geçtiği Fransa’nın haritasını çizdiler.
